This film actually survives any particularly scathing review. It's a kids movie, and pretty silly as a result. An interesting aspect to the pre-pubescent boy movie genre is the "innocence" of its sexuality. It's ok to see twelve year olds lusting after other twelve year olds (or thirty year olds) because… well, I don't know because. Most of us seem to agree it's not okay the other way around. Mm, I need my Foucault on this one. Anyway, three kids discover a cellphone and if they crack the code to get into the phone's voicemail they just might uncover a narcotics plot! Expect to see the main character bugging his eyes out in "terror" a lot in this film. Don't expect much else.
