Pretty roundly condemnded by most bad movie reviews. I’m willing to forgive the film’s shaky realism (cars exploding before they actually crash into anything???), but I just can’t forgive its terrible idea of comedy. Jokes abound like Bruce Willis never getting a cup of coffee to dogs licking Bruce Willis’ balls to Bruce Willis singing (the last is by far the funniest). Whereas the jokes linger about the kindergarten level, the plot is a contrived mess intertwining capitalist Europeans, villains named after candy bars, nefarious CIA agents, Leonardo DaVinci, and the Catholic Church. I’m pretty sure this is the film from which Dan Brown drew most of his inspiration. Granted, his movie sucks pretty bad too.
